Gail Ann St. Germain, 80, passed away on July 16, 2021, in International Falls, Mn. Gail was born in Virginia, Mn to Fred and Frances Shoquist on December 16th, 1940. Gail married Theodore St. Germain in Sisseton, South Dakota on March 30, 1962. They were united in marriage for 51 years.

Gail operated the Magic Mirror Beauty Salon as a cosmetologist in International Falls for 13 years, where her mother Frances assisted her by answering the telephone and watching their favorite soap operas together.

Gail loved spending winters in Arizona with family and friends. She enjoyed camping, fishing, crocheting, playing the organ, saying the rosary, and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Gail was an avid dog lover and owned many during her life.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband Ted; parents: Fred and Frances Shoquist; brothers: Raymond and Terry Shoqust; sister, Janice Shoquist; sisters-in-law: Leona Shoquist and Julie Shoquist; and brother-in-law, Freeman Krienke.

Gail is survived by her daughter, Deborah Withrow; son, Blayne St. Germain (Gail); grandchildren: Nicole Anderson, Rachel Hughes (Jeramy), Tyler Withrow, Theo St. Germain (Angelica), Ashley McDougall (Christopher); sister, Betty Krienke; niece, Melissa Ruelle (Philip); nephews: Trace Bartlett and Troy Johnson (Tina); many other nieces and nephews; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; special friends Elaine Grill and Darlene Tainter.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Ridgeview Assisted Living.
